On 17th April 2005, Dominic Coupes took part in the London Marathon to raise funds for Different Strokes. That day turned out to be a very hot day - which made it very hard for the runners, but brought out good supporting crowds along the route.

This was Dominic's first marathon, and so his finishing time of 4 hours 17 minutes was quite brilliant! This valiant endeavour raised £2,401.20 for Different Strokes, and Dominic, the staff, trustees and volunteers would all like to thank the many people who sponsored him on this run. Extra special thanks go to Dominic for this very special event!
