If you find it difficult to read print books you may be interested in Calibre. Calibre Cassette Library offers a choice of over 5,000 books on tape, titles ranging from new best sellers, major classics, etc. The books are sent and returned through the post, and can be played on any ordinary cassette player, even a Walkman.

The service is available to anyone living in the UK and Ireland. It is free to individuals, although there is a small charge for the catalogue. Library users may choose their own books from the catalogue, or if they prefer, Calibre staff will select books on the basis of individual interest.
