My nuero physio says that you could safely go up to 900mg of Pregabalin a day but personally i found anything above 450mg a day made me very drowsy so I tend to stick to 150mg 3 times a day.
and like you I tend to forget the lunchtime dose, have you tried self massaging the affected area this can make the affected area less sesitive to pain, my physio explained it to me this way by self massaging the affected area it fools the brain into thinking that this is the normal level of pain for your affected side.
stretching is good, and so is trying to strengthen your affected side.
I found that giving my affected side a good self massage whilst in a nice warm bath realy helps this may work just as well under a nice warm shower if you have problems getting in and out of your bath.
I have getting in and out of the bath down to a fine art and can even manage without grab rails, but then I have always had very good upper body strengtheven post stroke in fact this was very evident when last Friday i took apart 2 large wardrobes with my bare hands, I should explain here that pre stroke my passion was Martial Arts, and the more stubborn parts of the wardrobes quickly gave in to a few well directed Knifehand and Sidefist strikes.
the result being that what were once 2 large wardrobes are nothing more than on pile of wood awaiting being taken to our local tip.
regards
Mike Palmer
