Hi Kez - How did you find out that you had a stroke? Were you given an MRI scan when the symptoms manifested itself - FAST? My stroke was due to a intracerebral bleed in my right brain resulting in weakness in my left side. It is virtually impossible for anyone to assume that you will have another stroke, because a stroke happens without warning. I think you should see your doctor and ask him to refer you to a Stroke Unit/Hospital to try and put your mind at ease. Memory lapses are quite a common symptom of strokes.
