UKFST – Looking for Reviewers

The UK Forum for Stroke Training is still looking to expand its pool of reviewers – people with an interest in stroke care from either a professional point of view or through personal experience. Reviewers will assess applications for endorsement submitted through the UKFST website.

Particularly welcome are applications from those with a broad range of expertise across the stroke pathway, as well as physiotherapists and care home workers, those working in the East Midlands, the South East, North Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The work of reviewers is crucial - not only are professional reviewers contributing their experience, knowledge and expertise to help improve the quality of stroke care UK-wide, they are improving their own learning and thus progressing along the professional development pathway. Lay Reviewers contribute their first-hand experience of suffering from a stroke themselves or through a friend or relative which is invaluable to UKFST.

Being a UKFST professional reviewer helps you to increase specialist knowledge and to pass this on to others, network with a range of professionals working in the field of stroke care, education and research and also understand how SSEF-compliant programmes could be developed locally.

We look forward to receiving your application!
